A Spokane resident for more than 85 years, Katie lived with her daughter, Paula in Lakewood, WA since her 100th birthday. Katie and Luther were members of various dance clubs and long-time supporters of the arts and other charities. Her grandchildren Bruce, Dan, Katherine and their families played an important role in her life through travel, family visits and going to the opera. In recent years Katie was also a member of wine tasting clubs and enjoyed dining out with family and friends.
