Kaye Yvonne Cooper Obituary (Age 72) A long time resident of Spokane, WA passed away late Monday morning, October 26, 2009, after a long battle with pancreatic cancer. Born in Leigh, Iowa on August 3, 1937 she served her country in the United States Air Force before becoming a dedicated mother. She met and married her best friend, Richard Cooper, her devoted husband of 34 years in Hawaii in 1975. Kaye worked for the San Jose Public School system before retiring and moving to Spokane in 1991. She is survived by her husband, Richard, her daughters, Kea Woodfill (Dennis), Pamela Peloquin (Andrew) and Laurie Vaughn (Tim) and her sons, Coy Darling (Vicky), Chris Cooper (Janie), Scott Cooper and James Cooper, her fourteen grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. A celebration of her life will be held on November 7, 2009 at 1:00pm at 3705 W Little Rock, Spokane, WA 99224. Known for her honesty, boisterous nature and fierce friendship, she will be dearly missed.
