Kelsey E. Giese Obituary December 1st 1985 October 12th 2018 Kelsey Giese passed away on October 6th 2018 at age 32 surrounded by her family and loved ones while holding her Uncle Clair's hand. Kelsey was born and raised in Liberty lake by her parents, Duane and Judi Giese. She attended both Greenacres Elementary and Junior high and on to Central Valley High School. Two years later she got married. In 2006, against all odds she gave birth to her miracle baby girl Jazmyne weighing just 1 lb 15 oz. Four years later, she gave birth to another miracle, her wonderful son Catlin. Kelsey was very devoted to both her children and her love for them showed no bounds. Whether you knew Kelsey for years or met her once, chances are she was smiling. Her beautiful and infectious smile along with her spunky personality would light up a room and make anyone's day. Her undeniable love for her family and friends were especially prominent during the holidays. Halloween being her favorite. Kelsey always loved a challenge. Fearless when it came to bungee jumping, roller coasters, white water rafting, or sliding in to home base face first to win the game. She was an exceptional athlete throughout school in both track and softball and even made it to State Competition for the 400m relay. She continued to play softball in the valley co-ed and women's league up until her passing and truly loved her softball family. When she wasnt enjoying outdoor activities or spending time with her kiddos, she loved to sit down with a good book, usually one recommended by her dad. Kelsey is preceded in death by her grandparents Phil and Mable Ingold, Melvin and Thea Meland. Kelsey is survived by her parents Duane and Judi Giese, sisters Julie (Shawn) Miller and Tessa (Aroon) Giese, twin sister Kera Giese, and her 2 children. She also leaves behind her 2 nieces, 3 nephews and 1 great niece all of Spokane Washington as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins that she loved very much. There will be one public viewing at Heritage Funeral home on Wednesday, October 17th from 3PM to 7PM. The memorial service will be held at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Spokane Valley on Sunday October 21st at 3PM. The family of Kelsey welcomes all whose lives have been touched by her to attend.
