Kelsey "Kelly" L. Campbell Obituary (Age 92) Kelly was born June 6, 1917 in Spokane to Roland and Kate Campbell. He passed away on April 18, 2010 in Spokane. Kelly graduated from Lewis and Clark High School in 1935. He was a WW II veteran serving in the Army Military Police and as a company bugler. Upon discharge he moved to Oregon to work for the Bonneville Power Administration in the northwest. He returned to Spokane with his wife Rita, to work for the city of Spokane in the engineers department, retiring in 1980 after 30 years of service. Kelly loved his family, but his first love was fishing. He wrote many articles for local and northwest fishing publications and was a Canadian fishing guide. Kelly is survived by his wife Joan; two sons Patrick (Linda) and Mike (Lynnette); five grandchildren: Jason (Heather), Stephanie (Loren) Cyndi, Matt (Shelby) and Larissa; three great-grandchildren: Hayden, Quincy, and Quinton. He is preceded in death by his wife Rita. Kelly was a lifelong member of the Spokane Eagles. A Graveside Service will be 1:00 PM Saturday, April 24th at Spokane Memorial Gardens.
