Laura C. Huston Obituary (Age 82) Laura C. Huston passed away peacefully July 9, 2018. Laura was born on November 30, 1935, in Yakima, WA to Leonard Caswell Johnson and Ivy Isabelle (Fenton) Johnson. She spent her childhood in Donald, WA, where her father was employed by the railroad. She attended grade school at Parker Heights, WA, and high school at Wapato High School, graduating in 1954. She married Donald W. �Don� Huston on September 8, 1957 in Yakima, WA. After Don�s death in 1987, she moved to Spokane, Washington, to be near her children and grandchildren. Laura enjoyed bowling and participated in numerous league events in the Okanogan Valley, Colville and Spokane. She also enjoyed watching professional baseball, basketball and solving crossword puzzles. Laura is survived by her brother, Harry Johnson and niece, Valita (Johnson) Oldridge, both of Didsbury, Alberta, Canada; two sons, Mike Huston of Otis Orchards, WA, and Dan Huston of Tigard, OR; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren Viewing will be held on Monday, July 16th from 10am � 5pm and on Tuesday, July 17th from 8am � 5pm at Heritage Funeral Home. A funeral service will take place on Wednesday, July 18th at 10am at Heritage Funeral Home in Spokane. Following the funeral, she will be laid to rest at Meyers Falls Cemetery in Kettle Falls, WA.
