Laurel Frances Beyer Obituary (Age 84) Laurel Frances Beyer passed away Wednesday May 17, 2017 in Spokane, WA. She was born February 1, 1933 to Joe and Leona Turosky of Ford, WA. Laurel spent her childhood growing up on the family farm at Happy Hill and attended the Ford School on Walkers Prairie and high school in Springdale. She married her husband, Richard Dick Beyer on December 6, 1952 at Fairchild AFB. During their 63 year marriage, Laurel and Dick created a business that lasted nearly 50 years. They also had three beautiful children during that time, two daughters, Pam and Lorinne and one son, Dan. Laurel and Dick liked to travel when time allowed. She always enjoyed gardening and entertaining her family at their home in Spokane. Laurel is survived by her husband, Dick; children, Pam, Lorinne (Ray) and Dan; grandchildren, John (Anieca), Jamie (Rob), Rick (Breanna), Brian, Randy (Christina); great-grandchildren, Reid (Lacey), Mikinzie (Adam), Ashele, Kaycee, Jae and Grayson. She was preceded in death by her parents and sisters, Audrey, Verla and Rita. She will be forever missed. The family would like to thank all of the staff at Moran Vista for their care. A memorial service will be held at Heritage Funeral Home on Saturday, June 3rd at 1pm. Memorial contributions may be made to the Hearing Health Foundation (HHF) hearinghealthfoundation.org.
