Lee A. Letsch

Lee A. Letsch Obituary Beloved father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend, passed away surrounded by his devoted family. Lee was born in Springfield, Missouri, the middle child of Mabel and Roland Letsch. When he was 16, he learned how to fly fixed wing aircraft and was fascinated ever since. Lee graduated from Springfield High School, and subsequently attended college. His studies were interrupted when he was drafted into the military during the Korean War. Upon discharge from the Army, Lee lived in Japan. He had his hand in a little bit of everything. He eventually began his lifelong career as a machinist and opened his own machine shop, Letsch Machine Tool Company, in Spokane. Lee had many personal interests, including attending industrial auctions and watching John Wayne movies. He enjoyed helping his friends with projects, tinkering, and spending time with his grandkids. He was also an avid aircraft enthusiast. Lee is survived by his loving wife, Marjorie; children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Services will be held on Saturday, November 10th, at 4 p.m., at Heritage Funeral Home in Spokane, Washington.
