Leland Jay England Obituary (Age 90) Leland Jay England left us on August 2, 2018 to meet his Lord & Savior & reunite with his bride, Marjorie June Hershberger England. Born February 5, 1928 in Hutchinson, Kansas to Frances Amanda James England & James Luther England, he was the youngest of 10 children. Lee, also known as �Bud�, was an avid sportsman who loved hunting & fishing throughout his life. As a young man, Lee enlisted in the Marine Corp, then completed Junior College in �Hutch�, worked a decade for the Railroad & finally in 1961 moved west to Washington state with his young family to take on a sales career. Once retired, he also enjoyed donating his time weekly at Riverview Bible Camp where he worked with his friends. He leaves to cherish his life, three children: James England (Susan England), Cynthia Lear Stokes, & Jean DeRego-Klein (Chris Klein) along with 10 grandchildren & 12 great grandchildren. One of Bud�s siblings remains, Glenn England, 98 years old living with his children, Shirley, Ken & Deb & their families in Council Grove, Kansas. On behalf of the entire England family, we extend our deep gratitude to the Spokane VA ICU, Hospice Care & his Primary Care Team lead by Lynn Alford, ARNP, for supporting us in fulfilling his choices with dignity & respect. A special thank you to his family care providers: Tracy, Chris, grandson & Ben Inman for loving him in his home for 5 years; Sue & Jim, son, England this past year of his life in honoring his wish to be in his own home; Jean, daughter, & Chris Klein along with Clyde DeRego for providing respite care & Cynthia, daughter & RN, for coordinating his healthcare since 2007. A Memorial Service & Reception is planned for Saturday, October 6, 2018 from 2-4pm at Fourth Memorial Church located at 2000 N. Standard, Spokane, in the Young at Heart Room, Lower Level (elevator access) with Neil & Carol Anderson ministering & piano music by Gail Wright.
