Leo was born in Evanston, Illinois to Leo and Mercedes Lang on the 23rd day of November, 1943. He was the oldest of 9 children growing up on the family farm in Wauzeka, Wisconsin. After high school Leo moved to Janesville WI to work at the General Motors plant.

Leo married Georgia Jeane Moen February 27th, 1965.  Their love affair lasted nearly 60 years, a bond that most would envy. Leo and Georgia have two daughters, Tina Lang of California and Melody Caires of Spokane Washington.

The family moved from Wisconsin to Spokane Washington in 1975.  Leo pursued a career in Sales which lasted 30 years. Leo’s gift of connecting with people made him respected in his industry.

Leo’s love for his family made him a wonderful Patriarch for his wife, 2 daughters, 7 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.  Leo maintained a strong connection with his siblings in the mid-west. Leo loved being an avid lifelong Packer fan. He also enjoyed watching the Gonzaga basketball team.

Leo is survived by his wife Georgia, daughters Tina and Melody, grandchildren Nicole, Arianna, Patrick, Seth, Angelique, Leo, Riona. As well as the 8 great grandchildren. Leo’s legacy will carry through to many generations.

We remember this man as a true gentleman who overlooked faults and lived with kindness. He made everyone feel accepted and respected. Heaven has gained a special angel.

Leo’s life will be celebrated on January 23, 2025 at 1:00 pm. The service will be held at St.

Marks Lutheran Church where he was a member for 45 years.
