August 26, 1931 - September 22, 2016

Leo Ray Geer Obituary (Age 85) Leo Ray Geer died Thursday, September 22, 2016 at Kadlec Regional Medical Center in Richland, WA from complications of dementia. He leaves behind his wife of 59 years, Donna (Fisk) Geer; three daughters, Tami Geer, Brenda (Bill) Trowbridge and Robin (Rust) Brown; two sons, Dennis (Mai) Binns and Bruce Geer; four grandsons; eight great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and close friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, nine siblings and his daughter, Dana Geer. Leo was born August 26, 1931 and raised near Central Montana, he was the son of Walter and Rhea (Geer) Brown. He lived most of his life in Spokane and Moses Lake, WA. Shortly after graduating from Lewis and Clark High School, Leo enlisted in the United States Air Force where he served four years in Germany, Spain and France. He met his wife Donna Fisk at church and they were married at Central Methodist Church on April 27, 1957. After his service in the Air Force, Leo had the opportunity to work 32 years for the telephone company. During this time, he moved his family from Spokane to Moses Lake in order to farm with his brother. He and his wife proudly owned and managed a Baskin Robbins upon retirement from the phone company. Wanting more flexible time to enjoy family and friends, they sold the business after seven years and he became a realtor selling houses in both Moses Lake and Spokane. Leo was a member of Moses Lake Alliance Church where he served as treasurer for 20 years. He later served in many other capacities at Shiloh Hills Fellowship in Spokane. Whether working his job, caring for numerous foster children or helping his family, church and friends, gifts of service, generosity and hospitality marked his life every step of the way. Our love goes with him; our souls wait to join him. A memorial will be held October 1, 2016 at 2:00pm at Shiloh Hills Fellowship. To plant a beautiful memorial tree in memory of Leo, please visit our Tree Store. Read more Events SEP 22
