Lillian Tillie Singer Obituary (Age 94) Passed away November 19. 2017 in Spokane, WA. She was born in Detroit, Michigan on August 2, 1923 to Solomon and Bessie Leash. She was the second eldest daughter of nine siblings. As a child in Detroit, Lillian loved writing and reading. In 1973 Lillian moved to San Francisco, California to live with her sister Rebecca. She loved big cities and enjoyed films, theatre and art. She spent much of her time helping and taking care of her many nieces and nephews and other friends and family. In 1999 Lillian moved to Spokane to be near family. She loved visiting the library, being involved with politics, activism and the Jewish community. She also devoted much of her time to caring for her family and making sure everyone was always well cultured and well taken care of. She knew everyone and always made everyone feel full of joy with her stories and jokes and wonderful personality. She will be missed by all of her family near and far. Funeral Service 2pm Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at Heritage Chapel with interment to follow at Mt Nebo Cemetery. Please make any donations to Jewish Family Services.
