Lily M. Sorenson Obituary (Age 92) Lily was born on October 3, 1925 in St. Maries, ID to Grady and May Triplett. Lily left this world to be with her Lord and Savior on May 30, 2018. Lily graduated from Rogers High School in Spokane, WA in 1943. Lily worked for the Bonniville Power Administration for over 20 years, she retired in 1995 at the age of 70. She received recognition and awards for her excellent work at BPA, including a letter from President Bill Clinton for her work in the Working Women Count campaign at BPA. Lily is survived by her son, Jayme (Darlene) Sorenson; her sister, Leona Carlson; her stepchildren, Ron Jarvis, Kathleen (Chuck) Babbitt, Susan (Dave) Anderson, Cynthia (Ron) Michelbook, Gary (Rita) Jarvis; six grandchildren, Olin Sorenson, Ben (Christina) Sorenson, Elizabeth (Daniel) Mills, Robin (Brad) Sorenson, Jenna (Mike) Janssen and Kimberly (Kevin) Osterman; 19 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son, Craig Sorenson and her aunt, Violet Clark, whom she lived with for over 20 years. Lily was the center point of the family. She loved all her family unconditionally and was always ready to help her family. No challenge was too great or detail too small when it came to being of service to her family. When she was living with her aunt in Post Falls, ID she made the drive into Spokane every weekend to be with her family. Lily competed in Bloomsday for 14 years, she walked her last Bloomsday at the age of 75. She enjoyed working on her computer and she was very creative. Lily, for years, would make greeting cards for any occasion. She would also make signs and banners for family members. Lily lived her life with dignity and grace, her memory will be with us always. Viewing will be held on Friday, June 15th from 10am � 5pm and Saturday, June 16th from 8am � 5pm at Heritage Funeral Home.
