Linda Ann (Luvaas) Olson Obituary (Age 67) Linda Ann Olson beloved wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend, went to sleep in the arms of her loving Savior on the Sabbath morning of November 17, 2012. Linda was born on November 7, 1945 in Everett, WA, to Lyman Perry and Theodosia Olive (Parks) Luvaas. She graduated in 1968 from Walla Walla Academy, where she met her lifelong sweetheart, Thomas L. Olson. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in nursing from Walla Walla College in 1968, and later cared for pediatric and surgical patients in Portland and Spokane hospitals. Linda and Tom were married in College Place, WA, in 1968. They were blessed with two children, Donald Scott in 1969 and Cynthia Rene' in 1972. Together, they founded a dental laboratory in 1974, working side by side serving dental offices and dental patients in the Spokane area for 38 years. Linda is survived by her beloved husband, Tom Olson; children, Don (Pam) Olson and Cindy (Ezra) Williams; grandchildren, Ashley Olson, Eric Olson, Susanna Olson and Sean Williams; father-in-law, Phil Anderson; sister-in-law, Donna (Dave) Montague; niece, Kiery (Jim) Clawson; nephew, Kyle (Erica Dahmen) Herbel; numerous cousins; and countless friends. She was preceded in death by her father and mother; her brother, Burton Luvaas; and her mother-in-law, DeEtta Anderson. Visitation will be held Friday, November 23 from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm and Saturday, November 24 from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm at Heritage Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will be held Sunday, November 25 at 10:00 am also at Heritage with a private family burial at Spokane Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions may be directed to Linwood Seventh-day Adventist Church (www.linwoodsda.org) or Walla Walla University (www.wallawalla.edu).
