Linda Lee Marsyla Ingebritsen Obituary Linda Lee Marsyla Ingebritsen passed from this life into heavenly peace on July 15, 2017, joining her beloved husband, Rev. Allen G. Ingebritsen. She was also preceded in death by her parents, John and Irja Irene (Jackson) Marsyla, her two daughters, Jeannie and Joan, who were stillborn in 1955, and her grandparents. Linda Lee is survived by her son and daughter-in-law David and Laurie Ingebritsen, daughter Sonja Ingebritsen, daughter and son-in-law Karyn and Roy Gomez, grandchildren Katrina Gomez, Miguel Gomez, Aana Palacios, and grandson-in-law Hector Palacios. She also took delight in her granddogs and grandcats, as she missed having animals of her own later in life. Linda Lee was the only child born to John and Irene Marsyla in Mullan, Idaho, on March 2, 1930, where she grew up and graduated as valedictorian from Mullan High School. She attended the University of Idaho, earning a BS in Food and Nutrition. After raising her family, she returned to earn a Masters degree in the same academic field in 1980. Linda Lee and Allen met at the University of Idaho and married in Mullan in 1951. In 1955 the couple moved to Rock Island, IL, so Allen could attend seminary. They moved to Roseburg, OR, in 1959 to serve their first congregation. Allens ministry took the family to a number of locations. One of Linda Lees great joys was the wonderful friends they made along the way and remaining in touch with them over the years. At the age of 50, Linda began a very rewarding profession as a registered dietician at the American Lake Veterans Administration Hospital in Lakewood, WA. In that capacity, she received the 1983 Administration Heart and Hands Award. She loved her work! Linda Lee also enjoyed baking and cooking, especially preparing a fine table for guests at her home. In 1992, both Linda Lee and Allen retired. They moved to Rockford Bay in Coeur dAlene, ID, to care for their parents. Later, they had fun snowbirding to Green Valley, AZ, with their fifth-wheel trailer for a couple of years. When health problems surfaced, Linda Lee and Allen moved into a cottage at Good Samaritan Village in Spokane Valley, WA. Both lived at Good Samaritan the remainder of their lives, moving from the cottages to greater levels of care as that became necessary. The family is grateful for the many kindnesses of the Good Samaritan staff over the years. Even as her own health was failing, Linda Lee loved spending time with Allen until his death and also befriending those at Good Samaritan who needed a caring ear. A memorial service for family was held at Good Samaritan. Cremains will be interred at the Rose Garden Vaults at Greenwood Memorial Terrace in Spokane, alongside her dear Allen. Memorial
