Lois Arlene Olsen Obituary Lois passed away quietly in her sleep on July 2, 2017. She was born to Isaac Reynolds and Mary Kubitza in Havre, Montana on September 28, 1926, while they were living in Harlem, Montana. At age 5, her parents moved to Popular, Montana, where she attended school. Lois graduated in 1944 and at the age of 17, she got on the train to Spokane, Washington. Lois went to Kinman Business University while living at Isabella Girls Club. She worked at Fairchild Air Force Base. In 1945, she met Richard Olsen and the two married on December 27, 1946. Richard preceded her in death in 2013. They had two sons, Len Olsen in February of 1950 and Gary Olsen in July of 1952. Lois went to work for District 81 schools which included Salk Junior High, Libby Junior High and Browne Grade School. Lois retired from her career as a school secretary in 1991. She was a beautiful seamstress and quilter. She loved making porcelain dolls and sewing clothes for them. Lois was a very supportive wife and mother, who loved her family. Lois is survived by Len and Carol Olsen and Gary and Kathy Olsen, her grandson Brian, his wife Leny and their children Colette and Jay, and her granddaughter by marriage Woo Young Olsen and their son Joshua. Her grandson Jay preceded her in death. A Graveside Service will be held at Fairmount Memorial Park, 5200 W. Wellesley, on Saturday, August 12, 2017 at 10:30AM.
