(Age 85)
Jean passed away May 11, 2010 surrounded by her loving family. Born in a farmhouse in Ritzville, WA on April 25, 1925, she was the first child of Richard and Ethel Manke. She grew up on a farm near Sprague, WA, graduating from Sprague HS in 1943. She went on to Eastern Washington State College completing a degree in Education and making life-long friendships. A dedicated and loving teacher, she taught in the Spokane Schools for over 30 years, the last 25 years at Stevens Elementary. Jean met and married Bud Mullin in 1949 and they began their life in Spokane. Together they had three children and enjoyed a life filled with friends and family. Jean loved dancing, music and spending time with her grandchildren. After Bud passed away Jean eventually moved to Clare House and enjoyed some wonderful friendships. Though her final years were a struggle, she always had a smile for those she loved. Jean was preceded in death by her husband, Bud. She is survived by her three children and their spouses: Mike and Julie Mullin, Michelle Mullin and Chris Kopczynski, all of Spokane; Kathleen and Harvey Stroh, Bonney Lake, WA; her brother Richard L.
