Born in Portland Oregon July 13, 1927, to Albert and Gene Strauss. Lois attended Milwaukee Union High School and the University of Washington where she met her husband Marvin of 66 years.

 

Survived by her son Michael, daughter Barilyn, three granddaughters, Rebecca, Stacie, and Jody. Four great grandchildren, Rylie, Max, Tyler, and Henley. Two nieces, Peri, and Lisa and three nephews, Brian, Alan, and Scott. Two sisters in laws, Muriel, and Naomi. She is proceeded by her husband Marvin, brother David and brother-in-law Dick.

 

Lois’s accomplishments include Holding office in Sisterhood and Hadassah, working dinner at both Kenneth Israel Synagogue and Temple Beth Shalom, work at Metallic Arts the family business, Longtime volunteer at Deaconess Hospital, Women of Rotary, Lilac Festival Assoc., Friends of 7 Public TV, Ferris H.S. PTA Shows, and a heck of a good Rummy Cube Player!

 

A graveside service will be held at Mt Nebo Cemetery, 501 N Government Way, at 10:00 a.m., Sunday, April 19, 2026.
