Louie Simon Obituary Born March 25, 1941 to Magdelena Teresa (Sautner) and Arnold Hermann Simon, died March 5, 2014. He married the love of his life Viola Louise Dennis on December 28, 1959. He is preceded in death by his mother, father, sister Betty Brunson, and most recently his brother Robert A Simon. He is survived by his wife Viola, his son Kip (Linda) Simon, sister Michelle Dwyer, niece and foster daughter Kim Dahlen, grandchildren Christopher, Matthew, and Eric Simon, Jeff and Mike Pixler, and Kayla Johnson, brothers-in-law Russell (Mae) Dennis, Lewis Dwight (Dorothy) Dennis, sister-in-law Joyce Spaulding, and many nieces and nephews. He was employed for 30 years at Rouse�s Body and Paint Shop doing painting as well as intricate detailing. Louie was an accomplished and talented musician with an uncanny ear who could play almost any instrument he tried, but his favorite by far was the guitar. He played with others in the late 1950�s through the 1960�s winning accolades in Germany where he was stationed while in the army. He had many hobbies building model planes, photography, archery, and target shooting. But his biggest passion was Model T cars. He realized one of his lifelong dreams when he was able to refurbish and build hot rods, his favorite being a stunning blue 1921 Model T roadster nicknamed �The Bucket.� He is leaving behind many loving friends. He had a big heart full of love and will be sorely missed. Visitation will be held at Heritage Funeral Home on Monday, March 10, 2014 from 8am to 5pm.
