Louise Mae Hipperson

May 19, 1923 - August 17, 2010

Louise Mae Hipperson Obituary On August 17, 2010, Louise Mae Hipperson changed her address to Heaven. She now resides in one of the "many mansions" that her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, has prepared for all who believe and trust in Him. Louise was born in Spokane, Washington, May 19, 1923, to Henry and Anna Hallstein. She graduated from Rogers High School in 1942 and married Roy H. Hipperson, also of Spokane, on September 3, 1948. They spent their wedding night at the Davenport Hotel and lived happily ever after in Spokane for the next 62 years. As a wife she was the epitome of loving faithfulness as well as her husband's closest friend and confidante. Louise became a born-again, prayerful Christian at the age of seven, and for the rest of her life this side of Heaven she walked the talk. As a member of Fourth Memorial Church, she taught Sunday School, led women's Bible studies, prayed for and witnessed to everyone she knew. Within her own immediate and extended family she was revered for her selfless, maternal devotion to her children and grandchildren. Louise was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Al Hallstein and three sisters: Loretta Hallstein Peters, Adeline Hallstein Jones, and Frieda Hallstein Pearson. She is survived by her husband, Roy H. Hipperson, and their four children: son Brian G. Hipperson and his wife, Carol, of Spokane; daughter Susan England and her husband, Jim, of Dallas; son Mark Hipperson and his wife, Shirley, of Oakland; daughter Karen Hayett and her husband, Pat, of Spokane. She is also survived by ten grandchildren: Michelle Kreft and Renee England; Alexandra and Meredith Hipperson; Matthew, David, and Amanda Hipperson; Collin, McKenzie, and Bayley Hayett; and one great-grandchild, Liberty Kreft. Family and friends are invited to a memorial service Saturday, August 21 at 1:00pm, Fourth Memorial Church, 2000 N. Standard, Spokane. Memorial gifts may be directed to Fourth Memorial Church "Missions".
