Luella L. Howard Obituary (Age 93) passed away peacefully on Sunday morning, February 28, 2010 at Avalon Care Center in Spokane, WA. She was born in Spokane and was a lifetime resident. Her grandparents, John W & Minnie Carter homesteaded in Mead, WA in the early 1880?s. She attended Sheridan Grade School and graduated from Lewis and Clark High School. She was a former government employee with the Department of Defense and Department of Agriculture. She was a former member of the Valley Mission Senior Citizens and the Bethany Presbyterian Church. She was preceded in death by her three brothers; Howard, Wilbur and Edward McInerney, her husband, Ray Howard, grandson, Charles Davis and granddaughter Suzette Davis. She is survived by her four sons; Ted Davis (Marilee), Spokane WA; Howard Davis (Sharon), Bellevue WA; David Davis (Donna) Ione, WA; and Bill Kelling (Evelyn), Deer Park, WA., 9 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren. Services will be held at Heritage Funeral Home on Monday, March 8th at 1:00 PM. Graveside will follow at Pines Cemetery, Spokane Valley, WA.
