Lynn Everett Tower




Lynn E Tower 86, of Spokane passed away on Sep 7th, 2024.

 

Lynn was born on Feb 24th 1938 in Burns, Oregon, to Harvey and Doris (Reed) Tower. He graduated from Lewis and Clark high school in 1956. Lynn went on to attend Washington State University and graduated in 1962 with a degree in Mechanical Engineering.

After graduation he joined the Army and was stationed in Huntsville Alabama. Lynn returned to Bovill Idaho in 1963 to propose to his longtime sweetheart Doris Crane. The couple went on to have three children together.

Lynn worked at Kaiser Aluminum for 32 years in Spokane Washington, Mexico Missouri and Mandaville Jamaica. He retired while working at the Mead plant in Spokane in 1999.

Lynn enjoyed golf, slow pitch softball, and many outdoor activities such as camping and fishing. He was unfailingly kind and loved by many friends and family.

Lynn was preceded in death by his brothers Lee (Jo) and Arthur (Michelle) Tower. He is survived by his wife Doris Tower, sons Jeff (Cheryl), Dan (Alyssa), daughter Laura, grandchildren Whitney (Jake), Josh (Emily), Justin (Katie) and Max as well as two great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of his Life is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. on Sep 23rd, at the Sunset Chapel at Fairmount Memorial Park. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Lynn’s life.
