Marcelline "Marcia" Peterson Obituary (Age 90) Passed away April 3, 2018 in Livingston, MT. She was born July 17, 1927 in Blaine, WA to Samuel and Esther Kagey. Marcia graduated from Blaine High School in 1945, finding work as a sales person for Griggs Stationary Store in Bellingham. Through her work there, she was introduced to James ?Neil? Peterson and the two married on May 8, 1948. After moving to Spokane in 1954, she became a Foster Parent, touching the lives of dozens of children besides raising her own. Her remaining years were spent with family in Montana, where she enjoyed watching a variety of wildlife that would visit their property. She was a member of the Livingston Church of Christ in Montana, as well as a longtime member of the Northside Church of Christ in Spokane. She is survived by a brother Marlin Kagey of Bellingham; sons and daughters-in-law Gerald Peterson of Spokane, Tim and Connie Peterson of Livingston, Mt; daughter Marla Teagle of Spokane; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by parents Samuel and Esther Kagey and husband Neil Peterson. Memorial Service 1 p.m. Saturday, April 21, 2018 at Heritage Funeral Chapel.
