Margaret (Besgrove) (Senge) Cadruvi

Margaret (Besgrove) (Senge) Cadruvi Obituary Margaret was a lifetime resident of the West Plains area of Spokane County. She enjoyed the outdoors, traveling, animals, her flower and vegetable gardens, photography, sewing and sketching wonderful images of flowers, birds and whatever else caught her eye. She graduated from Cheney High School in 1934 and Kinman Business College in 1935. She worked as a school secretary at Sunset Elementary School in Airway Heights from 1959 to 1969. She was married to her first husband Claude Senge until his death in 1959. She married her second husband, Martin Cadruvi, in 1969, they enjoyed 23 years before his passing in 1992. Together, they bowled, played board games and also traveled to Martin's homeland, Switzerland. Margaret never had children of her own, but helped Claude raise his son Charles and when she married Martin, she gained an instant family of five adult children complete with their spouses and 15 grandchildren. At the time of her death, those numbers had grown to include 23 great-grandchildren and a growing number of great-great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Bertha Besgrove, brothers, Harold and John Besgrove, sisters-in-law Helen and Grace Besgrove, first husband, Claude Senge, second husband, Martin Cadruvi and stepsons, Charles Senge, Oscar Cadruvi and Paul Cadruvi. She is survived by her nieces, Evelyn Aleshire of Tacoma, WA, Anita Chichester of Randle, WA, stepdaughters, Hedy McMurtery of Spokane, Elinor Van Haren of Plainfield, WI, Louise Nightser of Spokane Valley and the aforementioned grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. The family wishes to acknowledge her caregivers, Norm and Brigitte Stradling and to thank the dedicated staff at the Cheney Care Center. The family has chosen to hold a memorial for Margaret at a later date. Those who wish may contribute to the charity of their choice in her name. She will be interred at Spokane Memorial Gardens.
