June 09, 1925 - June 19, 2009

Margaret Larson Obituary Margaret Larson went to eternal rest on June 19, 2009. Margaret was born the 9th of June, 1925, in Manchester, England where she spent her first 20 years. She was the eldest daughter of Benjamin and Elizabeth Dawson, survived by her sister, Joan Murphy. Margaret loved to reflect on her voyage to the United States, in 1945; arriving in Sandpoint, Idaho, the home of her new found love, Richard Larson. Richard and Margaret soon married, and spent the next 60 years together. Margaret's greatest passions were her family, her friends, and her community. She touched so many people in a very positive way, dedicating her life to care and do for others. She will be remembered for her endearing spirit in the kitchen, cooking and entertaining for those she loved. She was involved in the church guild, a member of the "Daughters of the British Empire", and spent countless hours volunteering at Sacred Heart Hospital. Margaret is survived by four children, Pauline Ornbaun, Susan Harrison, Steve Larson, and John Larson, her sons-in-law, Alan Ornbaun and Jim Harrison; her daughters-in-law, Marla Larson and Nancy Larson; eleven grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and husband, Dr. Ausey Robnett. A reception to celebrate Margaret's life will be held at 2:00 PM on June 22, 2009, at Rockwood Manor South. Memorials may be made to the Cathedral of Saint John or the Rockwood Foundation.
