Margery DePond-Rubin Obituary Much loved by her family and friends, brilliant, warm and loving. As a young woman she passed the Pennsylvania State Boards Exam for Nursing with one of the highest scores ever given. She met her husband, Norman, in Philadelphia, PA in Dec. of 1941 and they were wed on May 16, 1942. She and Norman were married 73 years and for Norman they were marvelous years full of adventure. Her love of the culinary art is famous within her circle of family and friends, and she loved nothing more than to see the delight on the faces of those who sat down to one of her meals. She was talented as well in art, music, needlepoint, sewing as well as any word games. Her prodigious memory awed the family. Her family includes Norman, their son Frederick, his wife Alison and their three daughters, Leina, Amber and Natahlia, and five great-grandchildren. She is the last of her family having outlived her three sisters. She will be sorely missed and is irreplaceable. Goodbye Margie, wife, friend, mother and grandmother. You will not be forgotten.
