Margie LaPriel Jackson Bickley Obituary (Age 94) Margie LaPriel Jackson Bickley passed away just shy of her 95th birthday on August 22, 2017 in Spokane, WA. She is survived by her husband Mark R Bickley with whom she would have soon celebrated their 75th wedding anniversary. She is survived by daughters Mary Ann and her husband Lon Gibby of Colbert, WA; Marsha and her husband Steve Holding of Spokane, WA; Valerie and her husband Terry Williams of Colville, WA; and her son Richard and his wife Cari of Woods Cross, UT; as well as 17 grandchildren and 42 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Patricia Bickley. Margie was born in Oasis, UT on September 5, 1922 to John Marvin and Lillian Webb Jackson. She was the oldest of four children, three of which preceded her in death. She grew up in Eden, ID and at fifteen her family moved to Salt Lake City, UT. While attending Granite High School, she met Mark and they became sweethearts before graduating in 1940. On September 15, 1942, she and Mark were married in Fresno, CA. They eventually made Spokane, WA their home, where they raised their five children. Margie was devoted to her family and her Church. In the words of her granddaughter Jamie, She is chocolate milk, hot chocolate, and chocolate covered almonds. She is sweet with a quick wit. She is candy in her pocket and her purse. She is soft hands and the best hugs. She is a cheerleader. She is a follower of Christ and a lover of His gospel. She is loved by anyone who is lucky enough to meet her. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 26 at 2:00pm at the LDS Sitka Chapel, 808 East Sitka Ave in Spokane, followed by a graveside service at Greenwood Memorial Terrace.
