Marian (Lauer) (Butler) Elizabeth West Obituary Marian Elizabeth West passed away on March 18, 2018 in Spokane Valley, WA. Marian was born on December 1, 1919 in Philadelphia, PA to Frank and Carrie Lauer. Marian was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Maurice, daughter Barbara Eller, brothers Charles Lauer, Edward Lauer, and sister Eleanor Compton. Marian for many years lived in Barnegat, NJ, and loved deep sea fishing in the Atlantic Ocean. She led a very active life and always had a smile on her face. Survived by her son Harry Butler, 4 grandchildren: Kimberly (Philip) Stancato, David (Heather) Eller, Mark (Becky) Eller, Michael Butler, 4 great- grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, and wonderful friends Donna, Pat, Shirley, Sue, and many others. We would like to thank the staff of Brighton Court Assisted Living for there kind and compassionate care this past year. Marian was a long-time member of Opportunity Christian Church, 708 N. Pines Road, Spokane Valley, WA where she was active and maintained many friendships. At her request there will be no funeral. On Sunday April 15th she selected Hymns be sung during the 10:30 AM worship service. In lieu of flowers, donations to Kindred Hospice, 22820 E.
