September 03, 1940 - May 15, 2013

Maridel (Mary) Springer Obituary (Age 72) Mary ended her long brave battle with several illnesses surrounded by her loved ones on May 15, 2013. She is finally at peace and pain free and in the loving embrace of many family members who preceded her. She was born on September 3, 1940, the sixth of seven children to Oscar and Adela Kienbaum in Garfield. She graduated from Lewis and Clark High School in 1958. Mary is survived by three daughters, Mona Perkins (Terry), Rhonda Galvin (Dan Fenenbock) , and Beckie Zappone-Smith (Ron); three sisters Jean Koch, Carolie Palmer, and Dixie Wallingford; eleven grandchildren and five great-grand kids, many nieces, nephews, and friends. She loved to paint, quilt and several other craft projects. She loved teaching her daughters and grandkids her talents of painting, crocheting and quilting. Mary loved to spend time with her family playing board games or just visiting and catching up on things. Until we meet again in heaven mom, enjoy heaven and save us a place! We love you! We would like to thank the wonderful staff at Willow Grove Assisted Living and Sacred Heart for the care they gave Mary. Please join us on May 30th at 2:00 pm for a celebration of Mary's life at Heritage Funeral Home. Graveside service will be at a later date.
