Marilyn Aldrich Browne Obituary (Age 88) On Palm Sunday, March 25, 2018 Marilyn Browne, age 88, died peacefully in her sleep � waiting to make her silent Happy Birthday wish for her husband and son who were born on that day. She had been succumbing to MS for over 30 years. She was born February 6, 1930 on the family farm close to Winona, Washington. She graduated from Cheney high school in 1948 and married Paul Browne shortly afterwards. She is survived by Paul, and their four children Paula (Dave) Mark, Norman, Lance (Kristi) and Deanna (Howie) Leinweber, her sister Joyce Gaiser, 11 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Elvy Nathan Aldrich and Gladyce Muir Aldrich, her bothers, Norman and Gordon Evans and Alan Aldrich. She will be remembered for many things, all of them good. Some will remember her joy of cards (particularly pinochle) and socializing - with her �WOOT� being heard after getting a good hand or hearing a good joke. Some will remember her driving the school bus, when sometimes everyone getting off the bus would say, �Bye mom�. Some will remember her hard work as she was usually working on something, and usually for someone else. Some will remember her taking care of everyone and saying, she didn�t want to be a burden to anyone. With over 30 years of MS slowly making it impossible for her to take care of herself, she never complained about her fate but always had a smile and a thank you for the many people who cared for her. Of the many things possible to remember, her children will remember a mom who loved them with all her heart and never wanted more out of life than for her kids to feel loved and do well in life. Mom died too soon, but successful. Her children would like to thank her for all the love, joy and support she showered on them and the many sacrifices she made to ensure their success! Rest in peace.
