Marilyn E. (Simchuk) Barker Obituary (Age 70) Passed away peacefully on April 9, 2018. She was born on December 18, 1947 to Nick and Eunice Simchuk in Spokane and was raised in the area. Marilyn attended Mead School District and graduated from high school in 1966. She met her first husband Steve Foust at Whitworth University and married in 1971. Together they had one child Terrah Foust. Later Marilyn met Richard Young and had Lori Foust in 1982. In 1996 she met Larry Barker and they married April 18, 1998 and started a new future together. Marilyn worked with her parents in the family business at Solor System Athletics, while being a devoted mother to Terrah and Lori, never missing any of her kid�s activities. She loved taking family trips, gardening, church activities, needlepoint, quilting, baking, sewing and caring for family members. She was a member of Calvary Chapel in singles and marrieds bible study. Marilyn is survived by her husband Larry Barker; children Terrah Emmingham, Lori Foust, Nate and Jerry Barker; grandchildren Kelly, Annalicia, Hayden and great-granddaughter Ripley; siblings Gary and Nicky Simchuk; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother Terry and sister Karilyn.
