Marita "Rita" Maxine Bancroft Obituary (Age 81) Our loving mother has joined our Heavenly Father December 9, 2009. Marita Maxine Bancroft "Rita" born on July 1, 1928, in West Plains, MO, to Carl and Dora Thomas. The family moved to Washington, where she graduated high school in Grand Coulee. She loved camping, fishing, ice skating and Almond Roca. She loved making cards, watching old movies and the color purple. If you weren't at home when she called, she sang you a message. She was a "perfect" mother with a great sense of humor. She had seven children she loved so very much. We were "ALL" her favorites. She is preceded in death by one of those children, Jack William Love of Anchorage, AK. "Today, mom, you are united with your son." Those left to cherish her memory are Jeri DeLaPena and husband Gerard, West Richland, WA, Teri Leonard and husband Tom, Kasilof, AK, Lonnie Love, Sequim, WA, Kay Antonuk and husband Scott, Lubbock, TX, Guyla McGrady and husband Richard, Keaau, HI, Dean Love and wife Janine, Florien, LA; 13 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren (and one on the way); and many friends that will never forget her warm and compassionate heart. "We love you more Mom". Family services will be held.
