Marjorie Anna Cook Obituary (Age 94) Margie went to the arms of the Lord on July 7, 2017. She is survived by three daughters, Phyllis Huff of Spokane Valley, Judith Higgins and husband Barney of Grants Pass, OR, and Patricia Lux of Spokane Valley, WA. She had 11 grandkids, 25 great-grandkids, four step-great-grandkids, and 14 great-great-grandkids. She also leaves numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Melvin, one brother and two sisters. Margie was a school bus driver for many years at Endicott, and also worked as a cashier at the grocery store in Winona. Melvin and Margie moved to Sprague, WA in 1963, and later to Connell, WA, where they both worked for Lamb-Weston. She was well-known for her "candy factory" every year at Christmas time and loved sharing the fruits of her labors with friends and family. At her request, her remains will be cremated and a family graveside service will be held at a later date. The family requests that any donations be made to Hospice of Spokane in Margie's honor.
