Martha Marie "Marty" Murdock Obituary Marty Murdock, 87, of Spokane WA passed away peacefully at Royal Park Care Center on August 3, 2013. She was born Martha Marie Frantz in Corvallis, Oregon. She graduated from Salem Oregon High School and attended Oregon State University. She worked as a bookkeeper/accountant at various companies and in 1987 retired from Cowles Publishing after 15 years. Her passions were bridge and golf and she was an active member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary Post 51. Marty was preceded in death by the love of her life, her husband, Donald in February of 1995 after 48 years of marriage, her brother Leonard in July of 1995, her sister in-law Margie in October 1996 and her son Gary in January of 1998. She is survived by her nieces Marsha Carner and Sydney VonFlue, her nephew Robert Lance, grandson Shay Putman, great-grandson Matthew Putman and special people in her life, Sandy and Russell Brydges and Earline McCormack.
