Marvin Paul Janson Obituary (Age 74) Marvin Paul Janson went to be with the Lord on August 14, 2013. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Charlene; daughters Colleen Janson, Beth Janson, Marcia (Rob) Jayne; son Paul Janson; 6 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Marvin was preceded in death by his parents Paul and Helen Janson, and son Steven Janson. Marvin was a life-long farmer in Latah, WA and a member of the Washington Farm Bureau. He graduated from Latah High School, attended WSU and Whitworth College, and served in the United States Army. Marvin was a member of the Southside Christian Church and volunteered at the Southside Second Harvest Food Bank. He enjoyed model railroading, Bible studies, attending church, and traveling with his wife. A Memorial Service will be held at Southside Christian Church, on Wednesday, August 21, 2013 at 2:00pm with a private burial at Greenwood Memorial Terrace. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in his name may be made to the Union Gospel Mission, Second Harvest Food Bank, or Southside Christian Church, 2934 E 27th Ave, Spokane, WA 99223.
