Mary E. Hallett Obituary (Age 99) Mary Hallett passed away peacefully at Hospice House of Spokane on Sunday, July 31,2011. Mary was born in Spokane on January 1, 1912. She was employed as a Financial Worker at D.S.H.S. at the time of her retirement. Mary loved gardening, reading, cooking, traveling and spending time with her family. She was a loving mother and will be greatly missed. Mary was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Lester Hallett, three sisters and one brother. She is survived by her sons Joel, Tom, Loren and Craig, and by her sister and brother-in-law Betty and Jack Shryack, and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A graveside service was held by the family at Riverside Memorial Park. Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Spokane.
