Mary Ellen Knox Obituary (Age 84) Mary E. Knox was born January 19, 1934 in Colfax, WA to Dayton and Margaret Snyder, where they raised her on a small farm in Clarkston, WA. Mary passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at Hospice House North on July 8, 2018. She is survived by her loving husband of 40 years, Everett W. Knox; daughters, Rebecca Hendrickson and Susan Cash-Tabakci; step-children, Carol Ann Knox, Sandra Mace, Helen Kidney and Mike Pluid; 13 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. Throughout her battle this past year with pancreatic cancer, Mary enjoyed meeting up with her �mall walker friends� at Northtown and the monthly Clarkston High School (Class of �52) luncheons. Viewing will be held on Wednesday, July 11th from 10am � 5pm at Thursday, July 12th from 8am � 5pm at Heritage Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 13th at 11am at Heritage Funeral Home followed by a graveside service at Fairmount Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in her honor to the Ronald McDonald House or Hospice of Spokane Hospice House North for a leaf in her name on the memorial wall. � To plant a beautiful memorial tree in memory of Mary, please visit our Tree Store.
