Mary Lou Dempsey Obituary (Age 79) Passed away April 25, 2013. She was born March 15, 1934 in Cd'A, ID to Jim and Viola Eagen. She attended school in Dalton Gardens and married John Dempsey on Dec. 27, 1966 and he passed in February 2013. She worked at Spokane Community College and as a motel maid and nurse's aide. She liked all kinds of dancing and was a lifetime member of the Jacks & Jenny Square Dance Club. Mary Lou is survived by sons: Thomas Carnie of Spokane and Douglas Carnie of Portland, OR; sisters: Susan Booth of Spokane and Janine (Jim) Kinservik of Chewelah; numerous nieces and nephews and friend Butch Knapp. Memorial Service 1PM Wednesday, May 1, 2013 at Minnehaha Covenant Church, 4005 E.
