Mary Louise Wendlandt Obituary (Age 79) Mary passed away on May 3, 2014 in Spokane, WA. She was born on September 15, 1934 in Spokane, WA to Herman and Elsie Kamm. Mary attended Reardan School District followed by Kelsey Baird Business School and began working at Kaiser Aluminum. On August 23, 1953 she married Ervin Wendlandt and together they had two children, Larry, born October 17, 1957 and Laurie, born May 5, 1961. Ervin and Mary built and moved into a new house in the Country Homes area in 1962. She had a number of careers including being a stay-at-home mom, she sold World Books and Shaklee Vitamins, went back to work in 1974 for Diversified Construction and was the Treasurer Secretary of Wendlandt Logging Equipment. Mary was involved in many organizations such as Beta Sigma Phi, Corbin Senior Activity Center, Tieg Inland Empire Gardening and enjoyed Gonzaga Women�s Basketball, Brass Band, line dancing, Zumba and the Spokane Symphony. She was a loving, thoughtful, caring and kind-hearted person. She will be dearly missed. She was proud of her two grandchildren, Michael Wendlandt, born on May 8, 1982 and Kaitlyn Wendlandt, born November 26, 1992. Mary moved to Riverview Retirement Center in 2006. She is preceded in death by her husband Ervin, December 19, 2007 and her brother Richard Kamm, 2001. She is survived by her children Larry (Kathleen) Wendlandt and Laurie Wendlandt, her sister-in-laws Carol Kamm, Marian Dole and Mary Ellen Camp, brother-in-laws Jim Ryan and Dick Camp and many nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, May 31, 2014 at 1:00 PM at Heritage Funeral Home.
