Maurice Gonzaves Grigsby Obituary (Age 61) Passed away December 29, 2016 in Everett, WA. He was born February 7, 1955 in Spokane, WA to James and Mary Grigsby. He was employed many years at Western Materials and later on as a salesman at Lowes, Home Depot Hardware Stores. He enjoyed working on cars, cooking and fishing. Maurice was a good problem solver who took on difficult projects at work and around the house. He always had the biggest smile seeing his finished projects. He was quiet but a very caring, kind and stubborn soul. He enjoyed bird watching especially humming birds, they brought him so much comfort. He loved spending time with his two cats his favorite buddies. Maurice will be deeply missed by his family and friends and all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his father James Grigsby; mother Marry Grigsby, and brother Antonio Grigsby. Maurice is survived by his longtime partner Barbara Patrick; his two sons Darri Grigsby and Maurice Lashawn Patrick; Step daughter Marquitta Donaghy; stepsons Derrick Perot and Lamar Patrick; sister Pam Thornton; brothers James Grigsby, Juan Grigsby and Nino Grigsby; numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held 10:00 AM, January 6, 2017 at heritage Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow at Greenwood Memorial Terrace Cemetery.
