her entire life, she was married to Donald Scharffer on April 9, 1947. He died in 2003. She is survived by her two daughters, Donna Scharffer and Lettie Clark, both of Spokane; two granddaughters, Caley Clark, Plains, Montana; and Anah Clark, Spokane, Washington; two brothers, Eldon (Shirley) Danielson, Fort Collins, Colorado and Floyd (SharonLee) Danielson, Bandon, Oregon; a sister-in-law, Bonnie (Fred) Danielson, Barnsville, Georgia; and numerous nieces and nephews. A sister, Florence and two brothers, Clyde and Fred predeceased her. During World War II she worked for the war effort in Spokane at Galena in the payroll office. Later she worked at Riverside Warehouse, Spokane and the Soil Conservation in Oakesdale, WA. After her marriage she worked at Hanford and White Pine Lumber Company in Spokane. She was a member of the Sacred Heart Church Altar Society for over 35 years and a member of the Forest Center Grandmother's Club, long before the time she herself was a grandmother. A devoted wife and loving mother, at heart she was a farmer. She and her husband operated the family farm and dairy at Valley, Washington for more than 35 years. She will long be remembered and cherished as the consummate devoted mother and homemaker, unconditionally loving her family. She was loved and respected by all who knew her and will be missed for the joy she brought us. The family suggests memorial tributes to Max's life be made directly to The Holy Names Music Center at Fort Wright, 3910 W Custer Dr., Spokane, WA 99224. Rosary will be held at 7:00pm.
