Maxine Pearl Tillman Obituary (Age 88) Our beloved Mom and Grandma passed away at Holy Family Hospital March 6, 2018. She was one of six children born to Marie Katherine and George Donald Smith on February 1, 1930. She married the love of her life Bobbie Carl Tillman March 16, 1956. They only spent 22 years together before Bob passed away May 7, 1978. She was also preceded in death by her siblings Marie Clohessey, Geraldine Randall, June Womach, George Buddie Smith and her twin sister Ilene Verle Cole. Maxine is survived by her children Bobbie Carl Tillman Jr and Sharon Knodel, Jodi Rae (Jim) Fielder, Teri Jo (Chris) Koehler; grandchildren Greg House, Samantha Koehler and Chris Koehler Jr. as well as many nieces and nephews; grand-nieces and nephews. Mom talked much about the Old Days and how enjoyable they all were, from spending time with the old Cheese Factory family, then later working there. She also worked at Marys Caf, Deer Park Bowling Alley and Shagnastys. She loved to cook and everyone enjoyed her creations. The family wishes to extend a special Thank You to the wonderful nurses she met during her short stay at Holy Family Hospital. She just adored Jesse, Chelsea, Ronda and Matt. Mom, you will be missed so much, but we know we will see you again. Until then we will continue to hear you calling us Little Darlin. At her request there will be no service.
