Maynard Paul Brant Obituary (Age 73) Of Spokane, WA passed Saturday, November 28, walking right into the arms of his Lord. Maynard is survived by his wife Joyce of 51 years; son Michael (Lynn) Brant; daughter Michelle (Mark) Huffaker and grandchildren Anita, Alan and Steven, as well as extended family. He was preceded in death by his parents Wally and Marie Brant and his twin sister Marijane Rollman. Maynard was a loving father, husband, grandfather and friend to many. He and Joyce especially loved pinochle parties, laughing with good friends and family and watching their children and grandchildren grow. He also loved to travel, driving his family across the US and Canada on multiple occasions. He was a steady, dedicated worker both at his job as a bookkeeper and at his church. He was a member of the Trinity Baptist Church, where he served as treasurer until illness prevented it, and he loved going to church both there and at the Churches of God he and Joyce attended in Montana, California and Washington. The family would especially like to thank the many friends from all over for all their support of both Maynard and Joyce, and the staff at Royal Park Care Center who took such good care of Maynard in these last five years. Visitation will be Friday, December 2nd from 10-5, and Saturday, December 3rd from 10-4 at Heritage. A celebration of his life will be Saturday, December 3rd at 1 p.m. at the Trinity Baptist Church, 6528 N Monroe St, Spokane, WA.
