Merele J. Rogers Obituary (Age 81) Merele was born in Torrington, WY on March 30, 1930 to Frank and Gladys Whipple. She passed away peacefully on April 13, 2011 at Life Care Center in Post Falls, ID. Merele was a devoted wife and mother. She and her husband Robert lived in Cheney, WA for many years and that is where they raised their two children. She enjoyed crafts, gardening, and geneology. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 58 years Robert Rogers. She is survived by her daughters Gerri Remmell (Dave) of Oklahoma, Sheila Hennessey of Spokane, WA and her beloved grandchildren Sean and Brandon Piganell of Texas, and Amber and Emily Remmel of Oklahoma as well as two great-grandchildren. Merele is also survived by her brother Don Whipple of California and sister Marge Anderson of New Mexico and Kathy Urban of Massachusetts. A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, April 16, 2011 at 10:00AM at Spokane Memorial Gardens, 5909 S. Cheney Spokane, RD.
