Meri Ellen DiLuzio Obituary (Age 61) Meri Ellen was born September 14, 1954; she passed away peacefully in Spokane on May 18, 2016. Essentially a lifetime resident of Spokane, more recently Meri Ellen spent winters in southern Arizona. She graduated from Gonzaga University and the St. Luke�s School of Medical Technology, working at St. Luke�s Hospital, the University of Washington Primate Field Station and the Spokane Falls Family Clinic. She was a dedicated volunteer, devoting substantial time and energy to Hospice of Spokane and various animal care organizations in Spokane and southern Arizona. Meri Ellen is survived by her husband Bruce; her two children Kate (Braun) Frankel and Laura (Scott) Jones; her two grandchildren Laura Grace and Juliana; her father Don Manlowe; her siblings Jeanne Marlin, John (Christi Chapman) Manlowe, and David (Meridith) Manlowe; and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her mother, Virginia Manlowe.
