Michael C. Rusnak Obituary (Age 73) Passed away May 1, 2015. He was born Feb. 16, 1942 in Detroit, MI to Michael and Elizabeth Rusnak. He joined the Marines at age 17 and served 4 years, stationed in Okinawa, Japan. He married the love of his life, Susan, Dec. 31, 1995 in Laughlin, NV. They spent many happy years in Meadview, AZ, boating on Lake Mead and moved to Spokane in 2003 to be near his wife�s family. Before retiring in 2004, he worked in the steel industry in California and Arizona. He also owned and operated Meadview Hardware in Meadview, AZ and had his own construction business in Meadview. He loved desert racing, hunting, fishing, camping and boating. He was a member of the Meadview Volunteer Fire Department and served as Volunteer Fire Chief 1993-1995. Michael is survived by his wife of 19 years, Susan, of Mead, WA; son Michael of Las Vegas, NV; daughter Lisa Rusnak of Simi Valley, CA; stepdaughter Sara Brightmire of Collinsville, OK; stepsons Tom Young of Bellevue, NE and Shaun Young of Las Vegas, NV; 7 granddaughters; 1 grandson; numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers Steve and Rich Rusnak. Funeral Service 2:15PM Thursday May 14, 2015 at the Washington State Veterans Cemetery, 21702 E. Espanola Rd.
