Michael Edward Rhodes Obituary (Age 63) Passed away peacefully at the Veteran?s Hospital in Spokane, WA on November 25, 2009. Mike was born on December 19, 1945 in Brawley, California to Albert & Wyvona Rhodes. He was raised in Spokane and attended Rogers High School before receiving his Bachelor?s Degree in Business. Mike was drafted into the Army and served in Vietnam. In 1973 he married his true love, Sally McMurray. They raised two daughters, Amy and Rachel and were married for 36 years. Mike is preceded in death by his parents and brothers Charles & Allen. He is survived by his wife Sally; daughters Amy Meadows and Rachel (Patrick) Fitzgerald; grandson Cale Fitzgerald; sister Alice (John) Moyer and brother Tim Rhodes. Mike was a very kind man with many friends. But his most special friend was his grandson Cale, who was the light of his life. Mike loved the Lord and is with him now in Heaven. A memorial service with military honors will be held on Saturday, November 28th at 11:00 AM at the Sunset Chapel at Fairmount Memorial Park, 5200 W Wellesley, Spokane, WA 99205.
