Michael Mike Hlookoff Obituary It is with much sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Dad, Grandfather, Great-Grandfather, Brother, and friend. Mike was born on December 1, 1935 in Nelson, B.C. and had a very successful career working as a Pressman in Canada and California before settling in Spokane at the Spokesman Review where he had a very successful career from 1967-1998. Mike leaves behind his 3 children Vickie (Derek), Randy and Shannon, grandson Robert (Mindy), great-grandchildren, Trenton, Monroe and Timber. Also left to mourn are his sisters Pauline and Larissa, along with many nieces and nephews, Lance and Barb, friends and his faithful companion Maggie. Mike was preceded in death by his beloved wife Annie. A service honoring Mikes life will be held on Saturday, November 19, 2016 at 2:00PM at Heritage Funeral Home. A reception will follow. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Mikes name to Cancer Care Northwest, a charity near and dear to his heart. Mike will be deeply missed by all who knew him and we will treasure his memories always.
