Mirl F. Beck, Jr. Obituary Born February 8, 1933 in Oklahoma City, OK. Passed peacefully on June 16, 2010. Survived by his wife Betty of 56 years, son Terry Beck (Bonnie), step- grandchildren Christa and Donald Elliott all of Blackfalls, Alberta, son Michael Beck, Spokane, sister Lela Beck, brother Curtis Beck (Mary) both of the Spokane Valley, numerous nieces and nephews. After retiring in 1998 they traveled in his hand-crafted van, going to casinos-always winning. They took several trips to Hawaii, which he loved. He spent hours riding his bike around the northside of Spokane, staying in shape. To the family he was Uncle Bugs, playing music with his brothers, quick with a joke and his wicked sense of humor are the thoughts we will always have of him. Friends of his sons considered him "Dad". Services will be Monday, June 21, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. Sunset Chapel , Fairmount Memorial Park. Viewing Saturday, June 19, 2010 12:00 p.m.- 5:00 p.m. Officiating is Pastor Monty LeLacheur of Turning Point Open Bible Church.
