Monte Alan Thomson, Jr. Obituary (Age 17) Passed away May 23, 2016 in Post Falls, ID. He was born March 5, 1999 in Spokane Valley to Monte A. Thomson Sr. and Karrie L. Thomson. He was a junior at Central Valley High School and was a part of the Running Start Program so he was a freshman at SCC. He worked for Quality Canopy Construction for two amazing people that he considered his second parents, Cecil Fowler and Wendy Young. Montes passions were snowmobiling, boating, 4-wheeling and was so excited to just get his motorcycle endorsement. Monte was a kid with a heart like no other. He loved everyone and would do anything for anyone he came in contact with. He was such a hard working young man and a jack of all trades. He could build canopies over gas stations, built his own boat, knew how to build fences, did roofing, knew how to work on cars, snowmobiles, bikes, 4-wheelers, etc. You name it and he would figure out how it was done. Monte will be greatly missed by his family, his friends and this entire community including his homeless friends downtown (BUTB). He actively helped with Blessings Under the Bridge and he loved to participate in the Spokane Car Meets Night Lights and PNW Lifted Trucks.
