Monty Neil "Zoomie" Zehm Obituary (Age 71) Passed away January 25, 2013 in Pasco, WA. He was born May 15, 1941 in Spokane to Erwin C. and Irene D. Bratt Zehm. He graduated from Spangle HS in 1959. He was a telephone lineman/installer/ frame tech for 41 years for Century Telephone (formerly Telephone Utilities). He served in the US Navy SeeBees 1959-1964. Monty enjoyed skydiving, billiards, bowling, cards, traveling, the color orange, rooting for the Denver Broncos, spending time with his children and grandchildren. He is survived by his brother Larry Zehm of Spangle, WA; sons Mark Zehm and wife Gina of Pasco, WA and Steven Zehm and wife Lisa of Lynden, WA; grandchildren Kayla and Brandon Zehm of Lynden, WA. He was preceded in death by his father Erwin Zehm of Cheney, WA, mother Irene Brown of Spokane and sister Sandra Stalnaker of Connell, WA. He was a member of the Connell JayCee's, Spokane Eagles and Connell volunteer firefighter 1966-1973. Funeral Service 1PM Friday, February 1, 2013 at Heritage Chapel.
